Part Time Pharmacist; RHN

Under the direction of the Pharmacy Department Manager and the Director of Pharmacy, a pharmacist is responsible for ensuring all prescriptions are filled according to order and regulations, accurately, and in a timely manner. They are responsible for compliance areas related to Wisconsin law, including compliance with DEA regulations.

• Travel between other Pharmacy locations would be required marily our Rhinelander and Tomahawk locations.
• Perform all required inventory management functions for all controlled substances
• Evaluate CII inventory levels and place orders when appropriate via CSOS
• Report all med errors following protocol
• Ensure continual coaching/training/development of all technicians supervised
• Be knowledgeable of expectations of other staff positions (data entry, fulfillment, inventory) and hold the staff accountable for those expectations
• Be knowledgeable of all pharmacy operations and be able to adjust to other areas when needed
• Evaluate and manage financial health of pharmacy department including sales, purchases, labor, and gross profit
• Work closely with Director of Pharmacy to evaluate workflow processes and implement changes as necessary
• Other duties as assigned

• Clear and valid Wisconsin Pharmacist license required
• 1+ years pharmacist experience preferred
• Immunization-certified
• Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines
• Ability to solve problems with minimal direction
• Great attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to excel in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment working on multiple tasks simultaneously while adhering to strict deadlines
• Quality minded; motivated to seek out errors and inquire when something appears inaccurate
• Excellent computer skills, including pharmacy operations system knowledge
