Registered Nurse; RN Charge Nurse Track Acuity Care

The Staff Pad is partnering with a leading regional healthcare organization in Wausau, WI to recruit Registered Nurses (RNs) for a high-acuity clinical environment.

• $36–$51/hour, based on experience
• Work with high-acuity and medically complex patients
• Develop advanced critical care and cardiac nursing skills

• Work alongside experienced nurses and multidisciplinary providers

• Provide safe, compassionate care to high-acuity patients
• Manage complex patient assignments and changing clinical conditions
• Monitor patients and recognize changes requiring intervention
• Provide cardiac, critical care, and advanced nursing care
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams
• Support and mentor newer nurses
• Contribute to quality improvement and positive patient outcomes

• Current RN license in Wisconsin or compact-state eligibility
• BLS certification
• RN experience in Critical care, ICU, IMCU, step-down, progressive care, telemetry, or a similar high-acuity setting
• Cardiac care experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and assessment skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
• Nurses with leadership or preceptor experience are encouraged to apply
