- Supervise the professional and retail operations of store and team members involved.
- Professional – All delivery and installer service specialists
- Retail – All parts and merchandising specialists
- Responsible for supervising work performed by all team members assigned to store/HUB store.
- Collaborate with district manager and store manager on recruiting, testing, hiring, evaluating, promoting, disciplining and discharging team members.
- Communicate information from Team Weekly and monthly store manager meetings to all team members.
- Train new team members and handle performance evaluations, recommending pay increases.
- Assist in the hiring process by completing recruiting tasks, scheduling and participating in interviews, evaluating candidates and collaborating with management.
- Support safety compliance and ensure all team members receive appropriate training across all areas.
- Make sales calls with or without the store manager; may be assigned a schedule for weekly customer calls.
- Support store manager in store operations as assigned.
- Maintain delivery fleet and records for each vehicle; keep the store/HUB store neat, clean, and organized.
- Utilize electronic scheduling, clocking, and payroll systems; learn payroll entry functions.
- Manage key components of gross profit and monitor professional customer returns, price matches, and overrides.
- Review individual team member productivity and KPI dashboards daily; discuss monthly P&L with store manager and identify opportunities.
- High School Diploma
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
- Must complete Assistant Manager Certification, Sales Specialist Training, and Manager Development Program
- Ability to read and match numerical/alpha characters quickly and accurately
- Knowledge of automotive parts, equipment, and systems
- O’Reilly store and/or distribution center experience
- Completed O’Reilly management training program
- Advanced computer skills
- ASE Certification
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired)
