Data Center IT Technician

Role Overview We are looking for Data Center Technicians to join our expanding Infrastructure Operations team. Data Center Technicians are the primary resolver and troubleshoot and solve a range of datacenter infrastructure issues including, but not limited to: hardware, fiber, networking, and related problems. You will be part of the Data Center Operations (DCO) team, overseeing the operation and maintenance of the IT infrastructure and hardware for data centers in AWS Cloud regions.

You will become the primary resolver for your support team and gain troubleshooting skills on different hardware and software cases.

Key Responsibilities Diagnose hardware and network problems followed by physical repairs

Troubleshoot events within internal Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
Perform root cause analysis of equipment failures

Handle manual handling and lifting of equipment as required (within regulatory weight limits)
Work rotating shifts (morning/late/night) and weekends as necessary to maintain a 24/7 data center environment

Location Requirements Our data centers are located in remote areas outside Milan, where access via public transport may be limited. A valid EU driving license is required for this role. Local travel of up to 10% of the time may be required.

Work Schedule This is a 100% onsite in-person position due to the hands‑on nature of managing mission‑critical infrastructure.

Salary Italy – 30,100.00 EUR gross annually. Salary is pro-rated for part–time hours.

Basic QualificationsIT hardware troubleshooting related experience

Completed formal education/apprenticeship or training in IT related field

Good command of English as it is an international environment

Valid in Italy driving license

Availability to work in rotational shifts

Preferred Qualifications Diploma or equivalent formal qualification in IT related field
