Job Description & How to Apply Below
Marionnaud was founded in 1972 in France by Bernard Marionnaud, who had a revolutionary idea: to create places where beauty is accessible to everyone.

The Group entered the Italian market in 2000 and today operates more than 1,000 stores across 8 European countries:
Italy, France, Romania, Switzerland, Austria, Hungary, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia.

At Marionnaud, we believe that beauty has an extraordinary power: the ability to bring deep joy. This is why we are committed to spreading beauty in everything we do, starting from the smallest details. Our ambition is to nurture and share beauty in all its forms, so that the joy we believe in can reach everyone’s heart. Whether in our perfumeries or on our website, at Marionnaud we are ready to make you feel happy.

We’re looking for a Demand Planning Manager to join our team in Milan. At Marionnaud, we know that great customer experience starts long before the customer enters the store — it starts with having the right product, in the right place, at the right time. We are looking for a Demand Planning Manager who will lead this critical mission and play a central role in connecting commercial ambition with operational excellence.

This is not just a planning role. You will be responsible for driving demand planning, stock optimization and service level performance, directly impacting sales, availability and working capital — while leading a team and shaping the way we operate. You will sit at the intersection of Supply Chain, Trade, Retail, Finance, and E-commerce, ensuring alignment between commercial priorities and execution.

What you will do

Lead and continuously improve the demand planning process, ensuring accurate forecasts and strong decision‑making

Own inventory strategy and stock optimization, balancing availability and cost efficiency

Manage and develop a team, ensuring focus, performance, and capability growth

Monitor and improve service levels in stores (OSA) and overall product availability

Drive actions on slow‑moving stock and improve inventory rotation

Translate demand plans into effective purchasing and replenishment strategies

Partner with Trade and suppliers to ensure the right assortment and support commercial initiatives

Coordinate with logistics providers to ensure efficiency in warehouse and transport operations

Support key business moments: product launches, peak periods, and new store openings

Deliver clear insights and reporting on key KPIs (forecast accuracy, stock coverage, inventory turnover, OSA)

Ideal candidate

Combines strong analytical skills with business understanding

Has experience in Demand Planning / Supply Chain / Inventory Management

Is comfortable leading people and influencing without authority

Thinks both strategically and operationally

Enjoys improving processes and driving change

Works effectively in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment

What we’re looking for

5+ years’ experience in Supply Chain / Demand Planning (with team management experience)

Strong expertise in forecasting, inventory management and supply chain processes

Advanced analytical capability and data‑driven mindset

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Fluent English

We offer a competitive compensation package aligned with seniority and experience, typically in the €52,000–€60,000 gross annual salary range, plus a performance‑related bonus.

What you can expect

A high‑impact leadership role with direct influence on business performance

The opportunity to shape and improve demand planning practices

A collaborative and international environment

A company where people, passion, and performance go together
