GSL Education is seeking committed Year 2 Teachers to join supportive primary schools in Wickford
. This opportunity is ideal for a Year 2 Teacher who can deliver engaging lessons, support pupils’ academic progress, and create a warm, structured classroom environment.
As the appointed Year 2 Teacher
, you will play a key role in boosting pupil confidence, strengthening core skills, and ensuring learning remains purposeful and enjoyable. If you are a motivated Year 2 Teacher looking to make a difference, this Wickford-based role offers a rewarding opportunity.
- Plan and deliver high-quality Year 2 lessons across the curriculum
- Create a supportive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
- Track pupil progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff, support staff, and parents
- Contribute to a positive school culture focused on pupil growth
- Qualified Year 2 Teacher (ECTs and experienced teachers welcome)
- Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum
- Excellent behaviour management and communication skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through GSL Education)
