Job Description

Infosys is seeking a Cisco Network Solutions Engineer responsible for providing technical and networking skillset in Cisco ISE, WLC, Cisco DNAC and Access points. This role involves diagnosing hardware and software issues on network components, performing troubleshooting, repairs and upgrades and ensuring devices meet quality standards. It plays a critical role in delivering reliable solutions activities including configuration, troubleshooting, management and monitoring of Cisco DNAC (Catalyst Center), WLC, ISE, Switches, and maintaining customer satisfaction in a fast‑paced service environment.

    , or Indianapolis, IN
    , or Richardson, TX
    , or Houston, TX
    , or Providence, RI
    , or Hartford, CT
    , or be willing to relocate to these areas Infosys HUB locations. This position may require travel in the US.
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
  • At least 4 years of experience in networking, with relevant experience on Cisco ISE, WLC, DNAC (Catalyst Center), routers, Switches, etc.
  • Install, configure, upgrade and maintain network hardware including Cisco ISE, WLC, Access points, DNAC (Catalyst Center), routers, and switches.
  • Provide L2/L3 level support for troubleshooting complex network related issues for wired and wireless users.
  • Participate in P1/P2 calls and take lead to provide resolution.
  • Work closely and effectively with customers, partners, vendors, and fellow team members to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Work with TAC as and when required.
  • Analyze complex issues to determine client impact and suggest alternative solutions based on client needs and objectives.
  • Work on incidents reported by monitoring tools and users and update them on timely basis.
  • Work in 24x7 rotational shifts.
  • Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Customer Service:
    Provide excellent customer service to the end users by resolving their issues end to end.
  • Compliance:
    Comply with the ITIL process and meet the SLA requirements.

Preferred Skills
  • Strong knowledge in network administration processes and concepts.
  • Cisco certifications such as CCNP, CCIE or specialized certifications in DNA and ISE.
  • Proven experience in diagnostics and problem analysis, configuration and troubleshooting network issues related to wireless solutions including Cisco wireless, access points, controllers, and network protocols.
  • Technology Cisco DNAC (Catalyst Center), Cisco ISE, WLAN, Routing and Switching.
  • Strong understanding of network technologies in two or more of the domains:
    Cisco DNAC (Catalyst Center), Cisco ISE, WLAN Operations, routing, switching.
  • Hands‑on experience in managing and deploying SDA (wired and wireless infrastructure) using Cisco DNAC (Catalyst Center).
  • Working knowledge of Wi‑Fi protocols.
  • Excellent communications and client interaction skills along with exceptional written and verbal skills as well as technical documentation.
  • Extraordinary planning, project management, coordination, and analytical skills.
  • Hands‑on experience in working in global delivery model with onsite/offshore resources.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Readiness to demonstrate a proactive attitude.
  • Solid attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Ability to work in team in diverse/multiple stakeholder environment.
