The purpose of this position is to read packing lists and assembly drawings in order to assemble and package orders.

• Follow assembly instructions, processes and procedures by reviewing assembly instructions, drawings and parts lists.
• Assemble orders by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies.
• Operate automated assembly machines, including hand‑feeding of links, to complete production tasks.
• Report problems with quality, processes, equipment and materials to the Team Leader.
• Provide hands‑on job function training to coworkers as needed.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
• Perform other duties as requested by the Team Leader, Production Supervisor or Manager.

• Manual dexterity and good eyesight are required for building orders.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

• Basic reading, writing and math skills.
• Follow directions carefully to complete orders correctly.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
• Must be available and willing to work overtime and weekends as needed to satisfy customer needs.
