GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Production Associate will provide support to production staff as needed in areas such as cutting, assembly, receiving, shipping, inline shipping, etc. This role involves collaborating with the production team to ensure that quality and production standards are consistently met in a timely, accurate, and safe manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Learn and become proficient in multiple roles, including Cutting, Assembly, Receiving, Shipping, Inline shipping, and general housekeeping.
• Support all shop floor activities and assist the Cutting department as needed.
• Train to operate forklifts, walkies, and other machinery used in the production process.
• Operate or be willing to learn to operate various cutting machines.
• Accurately measure product lengths using measuring tools.
• Strip and clean electrical cables.
• Package, label, weigh, and stack products according to specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness of floors, production lines, and related equipment.
• Assist in other departments as needed based on production demands.
• Complete safety training and maintain necessary certifications.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Basic reading, writing, and math skills required.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be available and willing to work overtime and weekends as needed to satisfy customer needs.
• Lean manufacturing and continual process improvement experience a plus.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds required.
