Associate Manufacturing - Nights (Downstream)

Join Amgen as a Manufacturing Associate on a 12‑hour shift (7 PM–7 AM) (C Shift). The role supports the production process by operating equipment, maintaining production records, and adhering to safety and quality standards.

• Operate equipment and perform operations in the manufacturing area under general supervision.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and monitor critical processes.
• Create and revise manufacturing procedures, SOPs, and technical reports.
• Conduct basic troubleshooting and review documentation.
• Participate on cross‑functional teams and represent the manufacturing team.
• Own deviations and CAPAs.
• Identify, recommend, and implement improvements to routine functions.

• Perform operations in the manufacturing area under general supervision.
• Operate equipment and observe SOPs.
• Assist with troubleshooting and documentation review.
• Contribute to cross‑functional teams and CAPA ownership.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives.

• High school or GED plus 2 years of manufacturing or operations experience, OR associate’s degree plus 6 months of manufacturing or operations experience, OR bachelor’s degree in a related field.

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering.
• Experience with large‑scale biotechnology operations (purification, chromatography, TFF cell culture, aseptic processing).
• Knowledge of single‑use systems, CFR, and regulatory compliance.
• Mechanical ability/expertise and basic statistical/mathematical skills.
• GMP knowledge and understanding of analytical methods for manufacturing.
• Technical writing and project management skills.
• Basic troubleshooting of production equipment and experience with Delta‑V.
• Lab equipment and testing knowledge.
