A well-established and reputable veterinary hospital in Wakefield, RI / South Kingstown, RIis seeking a passionate and dedicated Full-Time Veterinarian (DVM) to join their growing team. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform physical exams and diagnostic tests to evaluate animals' health.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
- Conduct routine surgeries and more complex procedures.
- Maintain open communication with clients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and follow-up care.
- Ensure accurate and complete medical record-keeping.
Ideal Candidate: The clinic values individuals who are passionate about veterinary medicine, eager to learn, and committed to making a positive impact on animal care in the community. The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a DVM degree from an accredited veterinary school.
- Have a current license to practice veterinary medicine in Rhode Island.
- Possess at least 2 years of experience as a practicing veterinarian (new graduates are welcome to apply with mentorship available).
- Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be able to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
