The Tree Crew Climber at Atlantic Tree supports tree care and landscape maintenance operations by safely operating equipment, performing pruning tasks, and maintaining healthy trees and shrubs. Atlantic Lawn & Garden
Qualifications- Required: Valid Driver's License, Ability to perform physically demanding tasks with varying weather conditions.
- Preferred: Prior tree care or landscaping experience (training available for motivated, dependable candidates), Rhode Island Arborist License (or willingness to obtain), Knowledge of plants, trees, and proper pruning techniques, Strong problem‑solving skills, Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Nice to Have: RI Hoisting License, CDL A, ISA Arborists Certification.
Operate vehicles and powered equipment such as chippers, chainsaws, and trimmers safely and efficiently.
Ability to safely climb trees using ropes, saddles, harnesses, and other climbing systems.
Ability to ascend, descend, and maneuver within tree canopies while carrying tools.
