Learn more:  As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors.

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to all individuals at the healthcare location by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or hazards encountered during patrols to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.
• Assist staff, patients, and visitors with directions and information as needed while maintaining a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Follow all post orders and instructions specific to the healthcare environment, adapting to changing situations as necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
