Teaching Assistant

Academics are seeking a motivated and reliable Teaching Assistant to support a Key Stage 1 class in a friendly primary school in Rhoose. This is a full time temporary position and is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young children and supporting their learning and development.

The Role Includes:

* Supporting pupils across KS1 with classroom activities

* Assisting the class teacher with learning tasks and small group work

* Helping pupils stay focused and engaged throughout the school day

* Providing general teaching assistant support where needed

* Working Monday to Friday, starting as soon as possible

Minimum Requirements:

* Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply

* Previous experience working with children, ideally in a school setting

* Good understanding of primary education and KS1 learning

* A positive, patient and supportive approach

* Ability to work as part of a team and follow direction from teaching staff
