Site Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee refurbishment works across multiple Ministry of Defence (MOD) military barracks throughout South Wales. This role involves managing live environments within secure MOD sites.
Due to the sensitive nature of the sites, candidates must hold BPSS clearance as a minimum, with SC clearance highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
 
* Manage day-to-day site operations on MOD refurbishment projects
 
* Coordinate subcontractors, trades, and suppliers
 
* Ensure compliance with MOD security protocols and site procedures
 
* Maintain high standards of health & safety (CDM regulations)
 
* Monitor programme timelines and report progress to senior management
 
* Manage quality control and snagging processes
 
* Maintain accurate site documentation and reporting
 
* Liaise professionally with MOD representatives and stakeholders
Requirements
 
* Proven experience as a Site Manager within refurbishment or fit-out projects
 
* Experience working on secure government or defence sites (desirable)
 
* Valid SMSTS certification
 
* CSCS (Black or Gold Card preferred)
 
* First Aid at Work certification
 
* Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
 
* Ability to manage projects across multiple South Wales locations
 
* Full UK driving licence
Security Requirements:
 
* Minimum: BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) clearance
 
* Preferred: SC (Security Check) clearance
 
* Must be eligible to work within secure MOD environments
