About the Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will step into the classroom in the absence of teaching staff, delivering pre-prepared lesson plans and ensuring a positive and productive learning environment. This is an ideal role for aspiring teachers or individuals with experience working with young people.

Key Responsibilities:

* Supervise lessons across a range of subjects

* Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policy

* Ensure students remain on task and engaged

* Report back to teaching staff on lesson progress and any issues

* Strong communication and organisational skills

* A calm and authoritative presence

* Ability to manage behaviour effectively

* Previous experience in a school or youth work setting (desirable but not essential)
