Job OverviewWe are currently looking for an experienced and proactive Support Medical Secretary to join the Trauma and Orthopaedics Admin Team in Glan Clwyd Hospital. The candidate will be enthusiastic, highly motivated, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Main duties of the jobThe role will provide a comprehensive range of secretarial and administration duties to the Trauma and Orthopaedics Department. It requires a team player who is flexible, organised, and able to work well under pressure. The successful candidate will be an experienced typist, qualified to RSA Typing Level II (or equivalent), and have excellent communication skills. Speaking Welsh is desirable;
Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome.

Qualifications
- NVQ Business Administration L3 or equivalent
- RSA /OCR level 2 or equivalent (proficient user of Microsoft Word)
- IT related qualification CLAIT plus /ECDL or equivalent

- AMSPAR – City & Guilds L3
- NVQ Customer Service L3
Experience
- Knowledge of a range of administrative processes
- Experience of working in a busy office environment
- Experience of typing
