Job Overview
Senior Finance professional within the Finance department responsible for the strategic direction, development, project, and operational management of the Business Systems team, and for the operational development and management of efficient and effective Business Systems and related business intelligence for BCULHB and WAST. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable;

Job Description and Main Responsibilities Management of Business Systems
- Corporate responsibility for the provision of Finance Business Information Systems
- Lead the Business Systems team to deliver a quality service with good practice ITIL across all areas including:
- Incident resolution
- Helpdesk
- Business Systems applications and databases
- Business Intelligence
- Business systems deployment
- Disaster recovery and Business Continuity planning
Essential:
Masters Degree or equivalent professional, vocational qualification(s)/ industry experience. Recognised qualification in at least one IT or related discipline. ITIL qualification or equivalent.
- Substantial experience in IT, Business Systems project management and development
- Extensive experience of introducing and developing Business Systems and associated IT
- Experience of working to recognised support and delivery standards e.g. PRINCE2
- Understand budgetary control, governance, risk and assurance and resource allocation procedures
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills and proven ability to drive change
- Knowledge of IT security standards and best practice in relation to IT and Business Systems
- Ability to prioritise significant workloads and resource them in response to changing demands and requirements
- Ability to collaborate constructively with internal and external partners to create the conditions for successful partnership working
- PRINCE2 qualification
- Experience of working in a leadership role in the NHS
