Neonatal Staff Nurse

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 staff nurse to join our Special Care Baby Unit at Glan Clwyd Hospital. The SuRNICC is the largest neonatal unit in North Wales and supports two Special Care Baby Units in Wrexham and Bangor, providing care for sick and preterm infants from 26 weeks gestation across North Wales and beyond.

This post is a fixed‑term, 12‑month contract designed to meet the needs of the service.

As a Band 5 registered nurse you will carry out clinical practice that includes evidence‑based nursing assessment, care planning, implementation, interventions and evaluations from admission through to discharge. You will work as a partner in care with parents and families to provide family‑centred care at all times.

• Registered Band 5 nurse with NHS experience
• Completion of the Neonatal QIS course (supported by the service)
• Ability to speak Welsh desirable;
  English and Welsh speakers are welcomed
• Compliance with Disclosure and Barring Service checks under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975

£32,557 to £39,631 a year pro rata.
