Skills Caseworker – Denbighshire, and Communities

Denbighshire County Council is seeking an Employment and Skills Caseworker to join the Working Denbighshire team within Housing and Communities, based in Rhyl but working flexibly across the county. This person-centred role supports participants facing complex barriers to employment and poverty, working alongside Employment & Services Mentors to build confidence, motivation and progress towards education, employment or training. Duties include collaborative coaching conversations, running tailored group sessions, supporting action plans, completing risk assessments, and maintaining detailed monitoring records in line with funding body requirements.

Candidates should have experience of community work in the public, voluntary or community sector, ideally in employability, education or social care settings, along with strong IT, administration and customer care skills. Welsh language skills are desirable. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required, along with travel across Denbighshire.
