. This position is part of NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership’s Clinical Logistics Transport Service, and is based in the North Wales area at Glan Clwyd Hospital Laundry.

This role primarily involves transporting clean and dirty linen from YGC Linen Service to community and acute sites across North Wales. The role requires an HGV Category C licence and CPC endorsement.

As a Health Courier Service Stores Operative/HGV Driver you will be responsible for:

• Managing stock items in stores centres.
• Safe and secure transport, distribution, and replenishment of laundry.
• Occasionally supporting other divisions transporting stock and miscellaneous items.
• Providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers.

Essential:

• Driving a range of vans.
• Dealing with customers.
• Sound geographical knowledge of the area served.
• HGV Category C licence.
• HGV CPC endorsement.
• Full driving licence.
• Moving & Handling and awareness of Health and Safety.

Desirable:

• ADR Awareness.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance.

Welsh language skills are desirable.
