Trainee Bus Driver

Start your bus driving career with Arriva at our Rhyl depot. No prior bus experience needed; training will be provided.

• First 3 weeks: £13.45 per hour
• Post‑training (Trainees):
  Monday to Saturday: £13.45/hr (rising to £15.80 after 12 months)
• Sunday: £18.70 (rising to £22.00 after 12 months)
• Bank Holidays: £19.13/hr (rising to £22.50 after 12 months)

• Full paid training, including obtaining your PCV licence through Arriva Training School
• Ongoing CPC training and professional development opportunities

• Flexible rotating shifts planned 6‑8 weeks in advance (mornings from 04:00, afternoons from 12:00, evenings from 18:00)

5 out of 7 rotating shift patterns, planned up to 6‑8 weeks in advance. Overtime available at request/availability.

• Over 18 years old with at least 12 months of driving experience
• Valid UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
• Pass a drug and alcohol test
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
