Job DescriptionPay Range: $20.43 - $22.93 / hour
As Lead II, you will play a critical role in overseeing our Team Members and Shift Leads and ensuring a vibrant, professional, and efficient work environment. You will lead by example, setting the standard for excellence and enhancing the member experience and team development.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Lead your team and set the example in welcoming, greeting, and interacting with all members, prospective members, and guests. Ability to identify deficits and improve upon current standards and processes
- Collaborate with your team to ensure daily cleaning tasks and gym presentation is always extraordinarily clean
- Membership sign‑ups and prospect tours, answering phones, point‑of‑sale transactions, managing escalated member concerns, and making and serving smoothies, if applicable
- Maintain knowledge and assist members with all amenities, membership information and offerings, fitness programs, and equipment functions
- Ensure proper completion of opening and closing responsibilities, breaking employees for lunches and maintaining appropriate staff levels, and completing inventory counts and orders
- Supervise member management software reports and process data entry. Manage front desk administrative duties as needed
- Train and develop the team by providing coaching, ensuring timely completion of online training courses, and providing feedback to management for performance reviews
- Collaborate with the management team to onboard and recruit new team members

Physical requirements:
- Able to read, write, and speak clearly in English
- Touring the gym: walking and climbing stairs
- Bending, kneeling, and repetitive arm movement
- Standing for long periods
- Computer operations
- Ability to lift at least 50lbs
Teamwork‑based mentality with the capacity to deliver and receive feedback
Ability to multi‑task and handle shifting priorities with attention to detail
Excellent communication skills in person and over the phone
Ability to work varied hours, weekends, and opening/closing shifts regularly or as needed
Previous experience leading a team
2 years:High school graduate or GED
