Location:Rialto, CA
Shift:Monday – Friday, 6:30am – 3:00pm (5:00pm with OT)
Pay Range:$24.00 - $27.00 (without Verisurf experience) / $27.00 - $30.00 (with Verisurf experience)

Are you a meticulous professional with a passion for precision? Join our energetic and fast-paced machine shop as a Mechanical Quality Inspector! In this dynamic role, you’ll be at the heart of our quality assurance process, ensuring our products meet the highest standards

• Understanding GD&T is a must!
• Performing mechanical inspections
• Utilizing various measuring instruments
• Creating and completing inspection reports
• Handling AS9102B and NCRs
• Conducting receiving, in-process, and final inspections
• Ensuring product and paperwork traceability using computer software (Word, Excel, Teams)

Roles and Responsibilities:

As a Mechanical Quality Inspector, you will:

• Adhere to best inspection methods and practices, including interpreting drawings, reviewing setups, and following all applicable specifications to inspect incoming, in-process, and final machined/fabricated parts, processes, and assemblies using various measuring devices. You will also make determinations for acceptance or rejection.
• Assemble and review paperwork required for customer certification packages.
• Work with suppliers and customers to verify product acceptance.
• Review customer purchase orders, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with all requirements.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• 4 years of relevant Inspection/Quality Control experience
• Proficient in GD&T and blueprint reading
• Capable of making decisions and staying on task with minimal supervision
• Comfortable adapting to changing tasks and working in a fast-paced environment
• General understanding of CMM functions and capabilities
• Ability to safely lift up to 40 lbs.
• Willingness to walk, bend, and sit for long periods
• Availability for overtime when necessary

Preferred Qualifications:

• 4 years of machine shop inspection experience
• 2 years of experience with Verisurf software
• Experience with Faro Arm

Requirements:

• Must pass a background check and drug screening
