Accounts Payable Clerk

For nearly 80 years, Rice Lake Weighing Systems has been a growth-oriented leader in the weighing industry and a valued member of our community. We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Accounting team.

Position Summary:

The Accounts Payable Clerk will perform a variety of tasks, including data entry, processing purchase orders, and communicating with both external vendors and internal teams. Additional accounting tasks and special projects will be assigned as needed. Accuracy, efficiency, and organization are essential to ensure timely and correct payment of accounts.

Hours:

8:00 a.m.

- 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately process invoices and purchase orders
• Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments
• Support accounting-related tasks and special projects as assigned
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Associate Degree in Accounting or a related field
• At least 1 year of accounting experience
• At least 1 year of experience handling confidential information

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and 10-key proficiency
• Experience with an ERP system
• Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
