Essential Duties And Responsibilities For GM Service Technicians

• Perform Maintenance & Repairs:
  Skillfully complete tasks listed on repair orders, always within our dealership's guidelines.
• Diagnose Issues:
  Use state-of-the-art diagnostic tools and equipment to inspect, diagnose, and verify guest concerns for everything automotive, from air conditioning to engines.
• Prepare Estimates:
  Provide accurate time estimates for additional repairs required, maintaining transparency and building trust.
• Address Warranty Concerns:
  Carry out warranty repairs flawlessly, adhering to manufacturer specifications and ensuring every vehicle is in top condition.
• Communicate Findings:
  Be the vital link between our clients and service advisors, ensuring timely and accurate vehicle status updates.

Requirements

Experience and

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school or ASE certification preferred.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in automotive repair and maintenance.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle systems.
• Experience with using diagnostic tools, service equipment, and repair manuals.
