About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and passionate Senior High School Physics Teacher to join their esteemed faculty in Richards Bay . This role involves educating students in the complexities of physics, fostering a deep understanding of scientific principles, and inspiring a curiosity for the subject. You will be responsible for developing engaging lesson plans, conducting laboratory experiments, and preparing students for academic success in physics.

This position requires a strong commitment to academic rigor, student mentorship, and contributing positively to the school's science department and overall educational mission within the vibrant coastal community.

• Deliver high-quality physics instruction to high school students, covering diverse topics and concepts.
• Design and implement innovative lesson plans, experiments, and assessments to enhance student learning.
• Utilize various teaching methodologies to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
• Maintain a safe and organized laboratory environment for practical experiments.

• A Bachelor's degree in Physics or a related science field, coupled with a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience teaching physics at the high school level.
• Proven ability to effectively teach complex scientific concepts and theories.
• Excellent classroom management skills and a passion for student engagement.
• Familiarity with modern teaching technologies and laboratory equipment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students, parents, and colleagues in Richards Bay .
