Our client is seeking a distinguished and experienced educator to assume the role of Subject Head:
Physical Sciences at their esteemed institution in Richards Bay, Kwa Zulu-Natal . This leadership position requires a profound understanding of Physics and Chemistry, coupled with strong pedagogical and administrative skills. The Subject Head will be responsible for leading the Physical Sciences department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality science education, mentoring a team of dedicated science teachers, and contributing to the overall academic strategy of the school.

• Lead and manage the Physical Sciences department, including curriculum development, implementation, and assessment strategies.

• Oversee the allocation of departmental resources, including laboratory equipment and materials, ensuring safety and compliance.

• A relevant Bachelor's degree in Physical Sciences (Physics or Chemistry) and a postgraduate qualification in Education.
• Minimum of 7 years of teaching experience in Physical Sciences at the high school level, with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
• In-depth knowledge of the national curriculum for Physical Sciences and assessment requirements.
