Our client is looking for a knowledgeable and experienced Geotechnical Engineer to support their extensive civil engineering operations in Richards Bay, Kwa Zulu-Natal . This role is critical for assessing ground conditions and providing essential design recommendations for a wide range of infrastructure projects, including ports, roads, and industrial facilities. You will conduct field investigations, laboratory testing interpretation, and detailed analysis to ensure the stability and suitability of sites for construction.

- Plan and execute geotechnical investigations, including site assessments and subsurface exploration.

- Prepare comprehensive geotechnical reports and present findings to clients and project teams.
- Ensure compliance with relevant geotechnical standards and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with civil engineers to integrate geotechnical solutions into overall project designs.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in geotechnical engineering, particularly in infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with South African geotechnical standards and practices.
- Proficiency in geotechnical software for analysis and modeling.
- Strong report writing and communication skills.
