Electrical Project Engineer - Industrial Plants

Our client is seeking a dynamic Electrical Project Engineer to manage and execute electrical aspects of industrial plant projects in Richards Bay . This role is vital for overseeing the planning, design, procurement, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems within large-scale industrial facilities. You will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.

• Lead electrical project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Oversee the design and engineering of electrical infrastructure for industrial plants, including power distribution, motor control, and instrumentation.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, codes, and client specifications.
• Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and vendors throughout the project lifecycle.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management and electrical engineering within an industrial setting.
• Demonstrated experience in managing large capital projects from inception to completion.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
• Strong understanding of electrical systems for heavy industry , including high-voltage equipment.
