Mechanical Design Engineer - Industrial Machinery

This role focuses on the design and development of robust and efficient machinery solutions for a variety of industrial applications. You will be involved in the entire product development lifecycle, from conceptualization and detailed design to prototyping and testing.

• Design and develop mechanical components and systems for new industrial machinery and equipment.
• Create detailed 3D CAD models, 2D manufacturing drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) using Solid Works.
• Conduct engineering analysis (stress, thermal, vibration) to ensure the performance and reliability of designs.
• Collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure designs are optimized for efficient production and assembly.
• Specify materials, components, and finishes for machinery parts.
• Develop and oversee testing protocols for prototypes and production machinery.
• Troubleshoot design issues and provide technical support during the manufacturing and commissioning phases.
• Maintain accurate design documentation and revision control.
• Research and propose innovative design solutions and technologies to improve machinery performance.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards and safety regulations.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in industrial machinery or heavy equipment.
• Proficiency in Solid Works or similar CAD software.
• Solid understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals, including statics, dynamics, materials science, and fluid mechanics.
• Experience with engineering analysis tools (FEA) is an advantage.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes relevant to industrial equipment (e.g., fabrication, machining, welding).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
• Familiarity with safety standards for industrial machinery.
