Senior Civil Engineer - Infrastructure Projects

• Lead the design and development of civil engineering projects, including roads, bridges, water systems, and public infrastructure.
• Oversee project planning, scheduling, and budgeting, ensuring adherence to project timelines and financial constraints.
• Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and impact assessments to inform project design and execution.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Manage and mentor junior engineering staff, providing technical guidance and professional development support.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, surveyors, and environmental consultants, to ensure integrated project delivery.
• Monitor construction progress, conduct quality control checks, and resolve technical issues that arise during the construction phase.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and environmental standards.

• BSc or BEng in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Professional registration with ECSA (Engineering Council of South Africa) is essential.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in civil engineering, with a focus on infrastructure development.
• Demonstrated experience in project management, including contract administration and cost control.
• Proficiency in relevant engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and project management tools.
• Strong understanding of South African engineering standards and regulations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience working in Kwa Zulu-Natal or similar project environments is advantageous.
