Event Coordinator, Entertainment & Gaming

Our client is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to manage and execute a variety of events at their premier venue in Richards Bay . This role involves coordinating all aspects of event planning, from client consultations and conceptualization to on-site management and post-event follow-up. You will work closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure each event is a resounding success, meeting and exceeding client expectations.

• Liaise with clients to understand their event needs, objectives, and budget constraints.
• Develop event proposals, timelines, and comprehensive execution plans.
• Source and manage vendors, including caterers, decorators, and AV suppliers.
• Oversee event logistics, including setup, staffing, scheduling, and on-site management.
• Ensure events are executed within budget and meet quality standards.
• Conduct post-event evaluations and client debriefs.

• Proven experience as an Event Coordinator or in a similar event management role.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in event planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
