About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Investment Banker to join their corporate finance division in Richards Bay . This demanding role involves advising clients on mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and strategic financial transactions. You will be instrumental in building client relationships, managing deal processes, and executing complex financial transactions within the dynamic South African market. • Advise corporate clients on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other strategic transactions.
• Lead and manage the execution of capital raising activities, including equity and debt offerings.
• Develop financial models, valuation analyses, and transaction proposals.
• Conduct due diligence, prepare offering memorandums, and negotiate deal terms.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, investors, and other financial institutions.
• Stay abreast of market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes impacting the finance sector.

• Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or a related field.
• Proven track record of successfully executing M&A and capital markets transactions.
• Exceptional financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, corporate finance principles, and regulatory frameworks.
