About the Role

Our client is recruiting a diligent Credit Risk Analyst to join their team in Richards Bay . This role is essential for evaluating the creditworthiness of potential and existing clients, mitigating financial risks, and ensuring the stability of the bank's loan portfolio. You will play a key role in assessing financial data, developing risk models, and making recommendations to support sound lending decisions within the Banking & Finance sector.

• Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and other data to assess borrower risk.
• Develop and implement credit scoring models and risk assessment methodologies.

• Prepare detailed credit reports and recommendations for loan approval or rejection.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in credit analysis, risk management, or a related role within Banking & Finance .
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with proficiency in statistical software or tools.
• Solid understanding of financial markets, credit products, and risk mitigation techniques.
• Excellent report-writing and presentation abilities.
