Reinsurance Analyst

About the Role

Our client seeks a detail-oriented Reinsurance Analyst to join their finance and risk management team in Richards Bay. This position is key to managing the company's risk exposure by analyzing and structuring reinsurance treaties. You will work closely with underwriters, actuaries, and finance professionals to ensure effective risk transfer and optimize the company's capital position. • Analyze reinsurance treaties, assess contract terms, and ensure compliance.
• Monitor and report on the performance of reinsurance programs.

• Maintain accurate records and prepare financial reports related to reinsurance activities.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Actuarial Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in reinsurance , risk management, or a similar financial role.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with financial modeling and reporting tools.
