Our client is seeking a driven and experienced Commercial Banking Manager to lead their team in Richards Bay . This leadership position is responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial clients, driving business growth, and ensuring exceptional service delivery. You will play a critical role in developing and executing strategies to expand the bank's commercial banking presence in the region. This is an excellent opportunity to leverage your expertise in commercial lending and client relationship management within a leading financial institution known for its commitment to customer success and community engagement in Kwa Zulu-Natal .
Key Responsibilities- Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial clients, focusing on lending, deposit, and treasury management solutions.
- Develop and implement strategies to acquire new commercial clients and deepen existing relationships.
- Underwrite and approve commercial loan requests within established bank policies and risk parameters.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of commercial banking professionals to achieve performance goals.
- Monitor market trends and competitive activities to identify new business opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with all banking regulations and internal policies and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in commercial banking, with a proven track record in lending and client relationship management.
- Strong understanding of commercial credit analysis, underwriting, and loan documentation.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a strong presence in the Richards Bay business community.
