We are seeking an experienced Data Centre Operations Manager to join our team in Richards Bay. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our data centre, ensuring that all systems and equipment are running smoothly and efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data centre operations, with experience in managing teams and leading projects. They will also have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Managing the day-to-day operations of the data centre, including power, cooling, and security systems
• Leading a team of data centre technicians and engineers to ensure that all systems and equipment are running smoothly and efficiently
• Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure that the data centre is running in accordance with industry best practices
• Collaborating with other departments, including sales, marketing, and customer service, to ensure that customer needs are met
• Providing technical support and guidance to customers, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues

• Strong background in data centre operations, with experience in managing teams and leading projects
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong technical skills, including knowledge of data centre infrastructure and systems
• Ability to travel to other data centres and customer sites as required

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
