About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Engineer to join their team in Richards Bay . This critical role involves providing advanced technical assistance to customers, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring the optimal performance of our client's products and services. You will work closely with engineering and product development teams to identify and resolve technical challenges. • Provide expert-level technical support to customers experiencing hardware and software issues.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical problems via phone, email, and remote sessions.
• Document technical issues, solutions, and product performance data accurately.
• Collaborate with the product development team to provide feedback on product improvements and bug fixes.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including FAQs and knowledge base articles.
• Conduct technical training sessions for customers and internal staff as needed.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical support or helpdesk engineering role.
• In-depth knowledge of operating systems, networking, and software applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
• Experience with scripting or programming languages is an advantage.
