About the Role
Our client is seeking a seasoned IT Project Manager to spearhead critical technology initiatives in Richards Bay . You will oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of diverse IT projects, including infrastructure upgrades, software implementations, and system integrations. This role demands a blend of technical acumen and strong project management discipline to navigate the complexities of the IT landscape. You will collaborate closely with IT teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure projects meet strategic goals, stay on budget, and are completed within stipulated timelines, fostering a robust and efficient IT infrastructure for the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the full lifecycle of IT projects, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.
- Coordinate with internal IT teams, external vendors, and third-party partners to ensure project objectives are met.
- Identify and mitigate risks and issues associated with IT projects, implementing effective solutions.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements throughout project execution.
- Communicate project status, key milestones, and challenges effectively to senior management and stakeholders.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT Project Management , with a strong understanding of technology infrastructure and software development life cycles.
- Proven ability to manage complex IT projects, such as network upgrades, ERP implementations, or cybersecurity initiatives.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, Agile).
- Strong technical aptitude and the ability to understand IT concepts.
