Consultant - Supply Chain Optimization

Our client is seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Consultant with expertise in Supply Chain Optimization to join their practice serving clients in Richards Bay . This role is designed for professionals who can enhance the efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and resilience of supply chain operations. You will work with clients to redesign their supply chain networks, improve inventory management, and implement advanced logistics solutions.

• Analyze existing supply chain processes, including procurement, logistics, warehousing, and distribution.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels, reduce lead times, and improve forecast accuracy.
• Design and model optimal supply chain network configurations to meet business objectives.
• Evaluate and recommend technology solutions for supply chain management, such as WMS and TMS.
• Manage cross-functional project teams and collaborate with suppliers and logistics providers to achieve optimal performance.

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or consulting with a focus on supply chain.
• Strong understanding of supply chain principles, methodologies (e.g., SCOR), and best practices.
• Proficiency in supply chain modeling and simulation software is advantageous.
• Excellent quantitative analysis, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field.
