Logistics and Supply Chain Manager

Our client is seeking a strategic and experienced Logistics and Supply Chain Manager to oversee all aspects of their supply chain operations in Richards Bay , Kwa Zulu-Natal . This role is crucial for optimizing the flow of goods from procurement to final delivery, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and reliability. You will be responsible for managing inventory, transportation, warehousing, and supplier relationships to meet business demands and strategic goals.

• Develop and implement efficient logistics and supply chain strategies to minimize costs and improve delivery times.
• Manage end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, warehousing, and transportation.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, logistics providers, and other third-party partners.
• Analyze supply chain data to identify bottlenecks, risks, and opportunities for optimization.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including import/export laws and safety standards.
• Lead and develop a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of performance and continuous improvement.

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in logistics and supply chain management .
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex supply chains and achieving cost savings.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience in vendor management.
• Proficiency in supply chain management software (e.g., WMS, TMS, ERP) and data analysis.
• Excellent understanding of international trade and customs regulations relevant to Richards Bay .
