Industrial Cleaning Operative

Our client is looking for a diligent Industrial Cleaning Operative to join their team in Richards Bay . This role is essential for maintaining the operational efficiency and safety of industrial environments by ensuring all areas are kept clean, hygienic, and free from hazards. You will be responsible for a range of cleaning duties, often involving specialized equipment and chemicals to tackle demanding industrial settings.

This is a hands-on role requiring physical fitness, a strong work ethic, and adherence to strict safety protocols. The successful candidate will play a key part in upholding the company's commitment to a safe and productive working environment.

• Perform routine and deep cleaning of industrial machinery, equipment, and work areas.
• Safely operate specialized cleaning equipment, including pressure washers and high-powered vacuums.
• Handle and use industrial cleaning chemicals and solvents in accordance with safety data sheets (SDS).
• Remove debris, waste materials, and hazardous substances from the work site as directed.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor immediately.

• Previous experience in industrial cleaning or a related field is advantageous.
• Ability to work safely with industrial chemicals and machinery.
• Physical capability to perform demanding tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
