In addition to providing routine support in functional areas of the accounting department, the person in this position may maintain records of delinquent accounts, incomplete files and credit risks with internal department or external vendors or customers and assist in resolving discrepancies and questionable data.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Ensure timely payment and accurate processing of invoices and other accounting documents or records.
• Maintain accounting journals, ledgers and other records detailing financial business transactions.
• Compute and record charges, refunds, cost of lost or damaged goods, etc. into the computer system (i.e. SAP).

Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge of general accounting procedures, relevant computer applications and proficient in data entry.
