Our client is seeking a Senior Director of Accounting & Finance to lead financial accounting, reporting, and business controlling functions across the organization. This highly visible leadership role will oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, project financial performance, and internal controls while partnering closely with executive leadership to drive business results.

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Oversee financial performance reviews, including project profitability, overhead analysis, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities across multiple business units and projects.
• Review and approve key accounting transactions, financial statements, project accounting activities, and payment processes.
• Deliver meaningful financial reporting and business insights to executive leadership to support strategic decision-making.
• Lead internal and external audit activities while maintaining strong internal controls and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee financial systems, ERP governance, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
• Manage accounting operations including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Controlling functions.
• Develop and mentor accounting and finance professionals while fostering a culture of accountability and operational excellence.
• Partner with senior leadership on strategic initiatives, growth opportunities, and special projects.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience.
• Experience leading accounting, reporting, and controlling functions within complex organizations.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, internal controls, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Experience with ERP systems; SAP experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Experience in construction, engineering, manufacturing, or project-based industries preferred.
