Main Line Automotive Technician​/Mechanic - Town North Mazda

The Mainline Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining customer vehicles according to manufacturer specifications and dealership standards. The ideal candidate will have prior Mazda or import brand experience, demonstrate technical expertise, and uphold the highest level of professionalism and teamwork in a fast-paced service environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Accurately document all work performed and recommended services on repair orders.
• Communicate effectively with Service Advisors to ensure clarity and accuracy in customer repair needs.
• Stay current with Mazda technical updates, service bulletins, and repair procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Comply with all dealership, manufacturer, and OSHA safety policies and procedures.
• Participate in manufacturer and company training programs.
• Maintain positive working relationships with team members and contribute to a strong shop culture.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive technician experience required; Mazda or import experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostic tools, and repair procedures.
• Ability to identify and repair vehicle issues efficiently and accurately.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company MVR policy requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Must pass pre-employment background and drug screening.
