Order Processor

The Order Processor/ Customer Service Representative is responsible for managing customer inquiries and processing service requests (orders). The customer service representative works to answer customer concerns, help solve service-related problems, and initiates order processing.

• Opens customer accounts by recording account information.
• Takes orders from customers and processes order by entering into computer system.
• Arrange shipments for all orders working with warehouses and freight brokers.
• Maintains customer records by updating account information.
• Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution.
• Handles incoming customer requests such as order tracking, billing questions, product documentation, and other general customer inquiries.
• Other duties as maybe assigned by management from time to time.

High school diploma or GED, at a minimum. College degree preferred. In addition, at least one (1) year of job-related experience is normally required to perform this job.

Working knowledge of PC based desktop computers and server-based networks. Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Basic mathematical skills are required. Must have the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts interest and commissions.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, communicate, normally by talking, listening, writing, and typing, move about the office, usually by standing and walking, reach with arms and hands, inspect by taste, touch, smell, and sight. Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, climb, and balance. May be required to lift up to 10 lbs. Required to operate telephones, computers, and other standard office equipment.

The employee regularly works in a well-lighted, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor office setting with a moderate degree of noise. Occasional travel by car, plane, or other transportation is required.
