Compensation: $,000 annually ($/hour + OT + Per Diem)

Location: Richardson, TX

Travel: High overseas travel role; 75%+ worldwide (Europe, Rome Italy, Australia, India, NATO/US sites)

Job summary: Lead Field Service Engineer based out of Richardson TX facility. Communications systems provider for US Air Force and Navy. Fast‑paced, control‑chaos environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct testing of RF and digital systems; work from schematics, engineering drawings, wire lists, and instructions.
• Oversee a small team to install and test equipment at remote locations.
• Operate related electronic and mechanical equipment to construct, test, process, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain specific products or equipment.
• Recommend changes or modifications to improve operation or quality of electronic or mechanical products and equipment.
• Determine methods, operations, and sequences in setting procedures for constructing, testing, troubleshooting, repairing, processing, and modifying electronic and mechanical products and equipment as required.

Required qualifications:

• At least 4 years of U.S. Military experience (preferably Navy Nuclear ETs, USAF avionics/communications, Interior Communications Technicians).
• 7–10 years of Field Service experience (mechanical/electrical/electronics).
• Proven leadership in Field Service; leads site crews, performs installs, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Active Secret Clearance and passport with international travel eligibility (visa approval).
• Ability to lift, route, and install large equipment (server racks, coils, amplifiers); experience reading schematics, wire lists, assembly drawings.
• Basic computer skills: MS Windows, loading software, network systems;
  Linux, PLSs (AutoCAD proficiency a plus).
