Construction Administrator

Job Description

Selectek is partnering with a company based in Richardson, Texas to hire a Construction Administrator to review and oversee MEP designs and layouts for a variety of projects.

Employment Type:
Contract to Direct
Location: Richardson, TX
Expected Pay Range: $26-$36 per hour prior to conversion, based on certifications and experience
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00a-5:00p.

Job Duties/Details:

• The role includes the review of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) submittals and answering requests for information from contractors.
• The role also includes travel to job sites to perform periodic site observations of the ongoing installation of the MEP to verify conformance with the contract drawings produced by the design team.
  
  Required:
• 3 plus years as a Construction Administrator
• Manage the MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) submittals and shop drawing reviews
• RFI responses
• Site Observations
• Experience working with construction drawing in Revit and AutoCAD for shop drawings reviews (no design experience needed)
• Knowledge of Bluebeam is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Travel to Job Site required
