F-22 Raptor Team – Design and Analysis Engineer (Mid-Level)

The Design and Analysis Engineer (Mid-Level) will join the F-22 Raptor Mission Design and Analysis Team in Berkeley, MO or Richardson, TX to develop cutting edge engineering solutions that advance the world’s premier air superiority fighter.

Position Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with responsible engineers, customer technical staff, suppliers and Lockheed Martin teammates to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements for F-22 avionics sub-systems and weapon system architecture.
  • Analyze and translate requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs and interface specifications to support lab and operational environments.
  • Define verification procedures for critical tests of various kinds to validate performance of designs to requirements.
  • Review test data, including off-nominal data, for accuracy, quality and fidelity prior to delivery to customer.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience)
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or equivalent directly related to the work statement.
  • 5+ years of related work experience and a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of related work experience and technical education.
  • Ability to obtain F-22 Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.
  • This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
  • Capable of traveling 10% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience)
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, engaging with multiple teams and being responsive to agile requirements and critical path customer need dates.
  • Experience in avionics, electrical, and/or a mission systems role.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies.

Summary Pay Range

Berkeley, MO: $107,100-$144,900
Richardson, TX: $114,750-$155,250

Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Required

Security Clearance

This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.
